Introduction

„Through the Ages“ is a project of the German Protestant Institute of Archaeology in partnerhip with the Friends of the GPIA, the Protestant Church in Germany, The German Federal Foreign Office, The State of Brandenburg, the Fachhochschule Potsdam, the Protestant Jerusalem Foundation, the Evangelical Lutheran Church in Jordan and the Holy Land, the German Archaeological Institute, the Israel Antiquities Authority and the Israel Museum.
